How to Stop an Exploding Man

Heroes did an admirable job of wrapping up a complete story arc (*cough* Lost), but the season finale probably didn’t live up to most fans’ expectations.

Overall, Nathan’s redemption in the end worked. The main problem was that the final battle between Peter and Sylar was anticlimactic and unsatisfying. I think the audience was expecting a spectacular epic fight, but instead Sylar was defeated rather simply. There were also a number of unexplained occurrences.

• What exactly was going on in Peter’s “dream” sequence? Was it Deveaux? Did he time travel?
• Sylar can stop bullets in midair and throw people hundreds of feet. He can’t stop Hiro charging at him from about 10 feet away?
• Nobody noticed Sylar crawling away into the sewer? Seriously?
• How did DL make such a miraculous recovery from the gut shot?
