City of Ember - Teaser Trailer
The City of Ember is a 2003 apocalyptic book by Jeanne DuPrau. It revolves around the underground city of Ember, the one known surviving settlement and “the only light in the dark world” that’s slowly dying as supplies run low and the electrical system starts to fail.
Bill Murray, Tim Robbins, Saoirse Ronan, Harry Treadway, Mary Kay Place, and Martin Landau star.
Seems a lot like a kid-friendly post-apocalyptic story with elements from stuff like The Matrix, Brazil, and Fallout.

The City Of Ember trailer looks really good. I love how the scenery in the trailer looks very dark and ominous like the books. Although it does have similarities to other movies that have come out I think City Of Ember has a combination of factors that will put it over the top. Such as an amazing cast from Tim Robbins to Bill Murray, Tom Hanks and Walden Media produced the film and Caroline Thompson adapted the screenplay!
I cannot wait for October 10th!
