The New Movie Megatron

Megatron???

Here are some images of the new movie version of Megatron. Many other folks have already summed up how ridiculous he looks, but I'd like to add that this new Megatron transforms into an "alien jet". WTF? I honestly didn't think Prime looked that bad, but now this?

For more laughs, check out the movie designs for Starscream and others.

Update: The images were removed, but you can see them at First Images of Transformers Movie Megatron!.

  • ARGH!!! i saw the pictures of the new Megatron, and, NO! NO! NO!!!! Megatron should look like the original, and transform into a gun. The new movie looks great in all aspects... Apart from that one. Michael Bay got Megatron wrong.

  • you guys are overobsessed geeks that really need to shut the hell up.

if u want a real looking movie, you cant turn a giantass robot and turn him into a tiny little gun.

  • Megatron's movie design is honestly kinda cool. The head's silly, but they changed it. Megatron hasn't turned into a gun since G1, anyway. All other Megatrons have had different modes. There are a few reasons. One of which is G1 Megatron's gun mode is mostly illegal on the toy market because it's too realistic. Another is the size-changing thing. Plus, he wouldn't be very mobile, which hardly suits the Emperor of Destruction. Face it: Starting with G1 Galvatron, all Megatron incarnations have had vehicle modes. Think about this: Megatron as a handgun versus Optimus as a robot. That doesn't add up to a dramatic fight scene.
