We all experienced the collective groan when “Missing Reel” flashed across the screen during Death Proof instead of the lap dance for Stuntman Mike. Well, we’ve found that missing reel at a projectionist’s home in Tuscaloosa (i.e., spliced together the 3 seconds of the lap dance from the trailers).
The full scene is sure to be on the DVD, but in the meantime here’s a quick taste.
Review: Grindhouse

Grindhouse is a case where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. While entertaining, Planet Terror and Death Proof taken individually aren’t mind blowing films; however, as a double feature combined with fake trailers and other nods to the genre, Grindhouse gives the audience plenty of thrills and at least a taste of the grind house/exploitation movie experience.
