As 2008 closes, so does business for those year-end glasses
A few years back, we wondered what would happen to the 2000s novelty glasses industry after 2009. Here’s some background information about the inventors and the end of an era (in the world of novelty items).
Hammerspace (also malletspace) is a fan-envisioned extradimensional, instantly accessible storage area in fiction, which is used to explain how animated, comic and game characters can produce objects out of thin air.
It also explains how Megatron can shrink down to fit in Starscream’s hand and why you never have to reload in a John Woo movie.

Rotoscoping is an animation technique in which animators trace over live-action film movement, frame by frame, for use in animated films.
There was a short-lived Rambo and the Force of Freedom cartoon series where Rambo was part of a G.I. Joe-like team (The Force of Freedom). The show had nothing to do with the movies, but that’s not the weird thing. The weird thing is this clip of Rambo saving a white rhino from quicksand and why somebody uploaded it.
When it’s the year 2010, what’s going to happen to the 2000s novelty glasses industry? Think of all the merchants, manufacturers, distributors, etc. They’ve got families too.
